Subject: Multi-Club Outing

Many of you are already aware of the fact that we are having a multi-club outing on The Brazos River this month. This email is just to insure that everyone is invited and has the details of the outing.

The Fort Worth Fly Fishers and the Texas Council want to invite any and all of our Texas fly fishers to a fun day on the beautiful Brazos River below Lake Whitney on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Although the event is just one day many of us plan to arrive on Friday and stay until Sunday. We plan on having a campfire on Friday and Saturday night.

The venue has set aside a dozen RV spots for us and they have an unlimited number of primitive tent sites available.

(RSVP to me not the landowner as I have already reserved the entire venue)

RV SITES ARE $17/NIGHT  TENT SITES ARE $10/NIGHT   DAY USE IS $1/PERSON

Fishing is great on this stretch of the river and can be accomplished by wading, kayak, or canoe. They have a really nice launch area.

Lunch will be provided on Saturday. We will have burgers and hot dogs. Please bring any sides or sweets and drinks for at least your party.

This is the first of many “fishing events” planned by the Texas Council. If you would like for us to partner with your clubs event in the future let me know. We want to spend as much “time on the water” with you guys as possible.

Hope to see you all there.
Tight Lines,
Jerry Hamon
